Contract

We as representatives of YKnot Pomeranians– Beverly Allen, (herein known as “OWNER(S)”) hereby sell the dog described below to:

PURCHASER(S) INFORMATION (herein known as PURCHASER(S))

DOG’S INFORMATION:

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THIS PURCHASE CONTRACT:

2.  PURCHASER(S) AGREE

HEALTH & WELFARE

• the Dog has been examined by a veterinarian prior to sale all records will be given to the purchaser(s)
• will provide food, shelter, water, veterinary care, humane treatment at all times and be kept in the home as a pet
• will notify BREEDER immediately by calling if the purchased pet becomes lost, terminally ill or prior to the euthanizing, in the event of
• any animal control issue, and with any change of address
• will be spayed/neutered by ____________. Early alter (under 1 year old) is not recommended and voids health guarantee
• will remain on heartworm preventative YEAR ROUND
• will not use of combined preventatives like a flea/tick and heartworm preventative (such as but not limited to Triflexis/Revolution)
• will not administer or have administered Leptospirosis, Coronavirus, Flu and/or Lime vaccines
• will not use; prong collars, shock collars, tie outs, or electric fences
• will not be left unattended outside when no one is at home, confined to a garage or basement

PURCHASER’S RIGHT TO RETURN THE DOG IN THE CASE OF A DEFECT

• the PURCHASER(S) shall have until ______________ to have the Dog examined by a practicing veterinarian. If the veterinarian determines the Dog has a life threatening heart, lung or liver program the purchaser shall have the right to return the Dog. The PURCHASER(S) have a period of _ 7_ days after such examination to return the Dog at their expense. PURCHASER(S) will be refunded the full purchase price once the BREEDER has the Dog back, a written report from the veterinarian, describing the defect and stating that the dog has NOT received any prohibited preventatives or vaccinations (as mentioned herein). BREEDER is NOT responsible for any costs incurred
• should it become necessary, the PURCHASER(S) should be aware that the return of a Dog can be very difficult, especially emotionally and, having drawn the attention of the PURCHASER(S) to this, the BREEDER cannot be held responsible for any distress caused by the return of the Dog
• the PURCHASER(S) hereby acknowledge(s) that the BREEDER has disclosed the following faults or defects in the Dog: _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.

ENDORSEMENT / REGISTRATION

• this Dog is being sold as a Companion with  /  without papers.
• endorsements/registration type can only be changed by the breeder
• this Dog is NOT to be used for breeding.  If this dog is used for breeding either intentional or unintentional the resulting offspring are not eligible for registration with the AKC or with any other registry.

REHOMING OF THE DOG

• The PURCHASER(S) agree that if, at any stage in the Dog’s life, the PURCHASER(S) need to rehome the Dog, the BREEDER will be the first to be informed and the PURCHASER(S) will, if the BREEDER requests, return the Dog to the BREEDER. The BREEDER will offer every reasonable assistance to find a new home. (No Refund)

ADDITIONAL PURCHASER(S) AGREEMENTS:

• PURCHASER(S) understand that this contract is NON-TRANSFERABLE
• PURCHASER(S) will provide an annual picture at the end of each year
• This dog is microchipped registration will include the PURCHASER 

3.   Legal

• Attorney Fees:   Each party is responsible for their own legal fees, regardless of claim initiator
• Choice of Law:   This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland with a venue of Charles County Maryland

1. PURCHASER(S) CERTIFY that the information given to BREEDER & contract is truthful & accurate, & if PURCHASER(S) provide false or misleading information it will be considered a breach of this contract. 

I HAVE READ ALL OF THE ABOVE & AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS STATED.  I HAVE RECEIVED AN EXACT SIGNED ORIGINAL COPY OF THIS AGREEMENT.
